**Audio Video Field Technician - Entry Level**

**The Role**

If you love technology and want to work on configuring and installing complex AV systems that focus on video conferencing and collaboration solutions, this is the team and organization for you. The Audio Video Field Technician will have an appetite for learning and a knack for getting their hands on as much cool technology as they can. The role will partner with our AV team across the country.

**Responsibilities**
- Installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: installing connectors, mounting projectors and monitors.
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
- Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
- Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues

**Qualifications**
- Experience in digital enterprise installation is an asset
- Previous experience in home theatre and residential installations and/or working with digital signage is an asset
- Previous experience in basic carpentry or framing experience is an asset
- Ability to work and think independently and meet deadlines
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience with troubleshooting or operating Control Systems & DSP’s
- Certifications in CTS or CTS-I or related field is an asset
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Other Requirements: Valid Driver’s License

Ignite offers a competitive salary (starting from $42,000 based on experience), health and dental benefits, other perks and incentives, as well as personal and technical development through training.
