**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable **Live-In Personal Support Worker (PSW)** to provide care and support for an individual with specific needs in a private home setting. This is a live-in role, meaning room and board will be provided in addition to a competitive salary.

**Duties**
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and planning nutritious diets tailored to individual needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions as needed.
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Support clients with hospice care when required, ensuring dignity and comfort during end-of-life stages.
- Document daily activities and any changes in client condition for family members or healthcare professionals.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or patient care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with senior care practices and dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges.
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their families.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Reliable transportation to travel between client homes may be required.
- A background in nursing home settings can be beneficial for understanding client needs.
- Valid PSW certification
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Clear criminal background check
- Reliable, trustworthy, and patient
- Must be comfortable with a live-in arrangement
