**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated live-in Caregiver to provide essential support and care to elderly lady with Parkinson’s disease in their home at Bloor St W and High Park Ave. This role involves providing personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
**Duties**
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Support with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support in social and physical activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in condition or behaviour to family members and healthcare providers.
- Provide specialized care for client with Parkinson‘s disease and dementia.
- Accompany client to medical appointments if needed.
**Experience**
- PSW certified, or equivalent education or experience
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is highly desirable.
- Experience in medication administration and patient care is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges is required.
- A compassionate demeanor and strong communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients and their families.
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
