Then this is an opportunity for you.**_ **Job Overview** The full time sales associate is directly responsible for, meeting and surpassing individual sales goals and providing additional support for the store and other staff. In addition, the sales associate is responsible maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the sales floor. **Responsibilities or duties** - Improving store sales by achieving individual sales goals - Processing transactions on POS - Answering the phones - Merchandising the showroom, creating appealing store displays and maintenance of the sales floor - General store housekeeping duties, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, cleaning the cash desk etc. - Responsible for providing customers with positive shopping experiences - Additional support for the sales team, when necessary, in any aspect including but not limited to; sales, moving product for customers, assembling/disassembling product, wrapping merchandise - Creating tags as specified by the manager - Key holder or assistant manager experience an asset - Retail experience a must - Home decor or design an asset - Ability to lift up to 50lbs - Does not require sponsorship and legally able to work in Canada without limitations. **Job Type**: Permanent Pay: $18.50 per hour **Benefits**: - Designated paid holidays - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Store discount - Vision care Flexible language requirement: - French not required Shift: - 4 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Afternoon shift - Day shift - Morning shift Work days: - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed Application question(s): - What is your availability ? **Experience**: - Customer service: 1 year (preferred) - retail: 1 year (preferred) - sales: 1 year (required) **Language**: - English (required) Work Location: In person
