Before and After School Early Childhood Educator

**About us**
Under the supervision of the Center Director and/or the Supervisor, the Early Childhood Educator is responsible for providing a safe environment and programmed activities which stimulates and builds on each child's area of holistic development: Physically, emotional and social, intellectual and spiritually. The educator will maintain a consistent concern for the health and safety of all children at all times. Guiding children's behavior is done by the manner that supports the center's philosophy, policies and procedures, and adheres to the Child Care Regulations. Is expected to build and maintain a positive professional relationship with children, their families, co-workers, and the Director/Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Training
- Confidence in guiding children's behavior
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Section completed.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Programming activities
- Environment
- Observations
- Interactions with Parents, children, co-workers, and Director/Supervisor.
- Professional Responsibilities such as, confidentiality etc.
- Performing general administrative duties
- Cleaning and up keep. of the environment
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
