**Project Estimator**

**Job Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Work with Project Managers in the office and provide support in the field.

Review of contracts, drawings and local/provincial specifications

Review of tender documents: contract drawings, specifications, form of tender, local and provincial standards.

Support the estimating team in procuring quotations, pricing for materials and subcontractors and accurate takeoffs with the use of BlueBeam Revue, Bid2Win and Microsoft Projects Software.

Communicate with consultants throughout the tender process including on site and virtual meetings.

Monitor tender schedules and manage quotations, ensuring that tender deadlines are met.

Prepare final tender packages including letters, spreadsheets and all supporting materials.

Communicate project specific details with consultants, Superintendents and Management.

Managing schedules, providing regular updates.

Assist in getting quotes for the purchase of materials and sutrades.

Manage logs and files

Qualifications:
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and Adobe, Bid2Win, Primavera P6

Hands-on experience with project estimation/ quantity takeoffs is preferred

Experience as a project coordinator in construction would be an asset

AutoCAD experience would be preferred

Excellent communication, administrative, and organizational skills

Hands on experience through multiple different phases and types of civil construction are considered an asset.
