Reporting to the Head of APA Operations, the APA Team Lead is responsible for production schedule performance, ensuring People, Material and Documentation is ready when needed to meet shift production goals. The APA Team Leader has operational responsibility for meeting targets on each shift.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Own the daily and weekly targets for an aseptic filling team. This includes scheduling jobs and meeting the production schedule.
- Ensure staff are fully trained and adhere to all SOPs, aseptic behaviours, and safety requirements.
- Performance Management of APA equipment operators.
- Provides after-hours support for escalations and resolving production issues.
- Works with appropriate stakeholders to resolve safety, quality and efficiency issues.
- Build and maintain a highly engaged, productive team of equipment operators.
- Expedites receiving and delivery of materials and assists in RFT line clearances.
- Interacts primarily with the APA team and with cross-functional teams such as Quality Operations, Engineering Services, Facilities and Maintenance, Materials Management and Purchasing.
- Review manufacturing approach and provide process improvement recommendations and oversee process enhancements as requested.
- RFT and timely completion of production files.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Life Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Minimum one year leading a team in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a GMP environment, preferably in aseptic manufacturing or packaging
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office programs and exposure to SAP
- Demonstrated people management, coaching and leadership skills
- Ability to work rotational shifts
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
