Career Services Manager- Mississauga

triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a **Career Services Manager **to join our team at the **Mississauga Campus located inside Square One mall**.

**Primary Purpose**:
To create and provide the leadership, strategic direction, and management for the Career services team at the campus level to ensure **international graduates** successfully transition into new careers.

The Career Services Manager will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Train and mentor, the Career services team members in the campus.
- Participate in interviews for all Career services related positions.
- Develop and actively participate in the training plan for all new Career services hires. Monitor the training plan results.
- Provide coaching and support in hiring and developing Employment Services team members. This will be achieved through communication of job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Develop a system of checks and balances to ensure that activities are being completed in order to obtain career services goals.
- Work with the Regional Manager of Career Services to provide feedback to the Career services team members regarding performance and student satisfaction.
- Perform the role of Employment Specialist at the campus as necessary, specifically for vacation coverage and during times of Employment Specialist transition.
- Support Career services team members with establishing and maintaining employer relationships in the local community.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary College Diploma or University Degree in Sales, Education, Business or Social Work or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years of sales experience in business-to-business field.
- Minimum of two years of sales management, career services management or business management experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in career/employment services in an education environment is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in presentations, facilitation or teaching adults in an educational environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
- Fluent English communication (oral and written) skills are essential.

**Hours of work**:
This is a full-time permanent positon. The hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

**Start Date**:
The start date for this position will be **immediate**.
