Agricorp is looking for Claims Adjudicator and Associate Claims Adjudicator to join the Claims Services team in the Program Delivery division.
**The Role**:
In these roles, you will:
- Escalate issues that arise to senior team members that may lead to high risk
- Contribute to successful delivery of the team/divisional mandate and business objectives
- Provide technical advice to those outside of Claims Services, such as producers, clients, and other Agricorp employees
- Stay current on Agricorp-administered products and services
- Participate in team goal setting
Claims Adjudicators will also:
- Settle claims within a predetermined monetary limit
- Participate in case conferences and confer with the senior quality advisor, claims specialist or team leader on claims requiring additional approvals, legal counsel or on potential appeals
- Coach and mentor claims staff and peers
**Job status**: Permanent Full-Time
**Salary**: Associate Claims Adjudicator - $53,652 - $63,120
Claims Adjudicator - $60,940 - $71,693
**Work Status**: Full time in office, remote or hybrid work arrangements offered
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, economics, agricultural science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in claims or risk adjudication, preferably in the financial services or agricultural sectors
- Additional training courses in accounting, risk analysis/risk management, or financial analysis an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to diverse groups, including clients, brokers, agents and other professionals
- Experience preparing claim-related documentation, including the preparation of files for litigation
- Agricultural knowledge is an asset
- Working towards a professional designation in finance, Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) or Fellow of the Insolvency Institute of Canada (FIIC) an asset
Claims Adjudicator/Associate Claims Adjudicator jobs will be offered based on appropriate levels of skills and experience.
