**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate Crane trucks, dump trucks, bin trucks, large and small forklifts to transport freight over short and long distances.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain Trucks and equipement in clean and well maintained state. performing maintenance as required.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with dispatchers and other team members, regarding delivery schedules, and any issues that arise during transit.
- Adhere to all provincal and municipal regulations related to commercial driving.
- Assist in minor repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Other duties as required by management, and logistics coordinators.

**Skills**
- Proficient in commercial driving with a valid CDL Class 3 as minimum, class 1 preferred (Commercial Driver's License).
- Experience in efficient freight handling, and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts.
- Basic truck and equipement repair skills for routine maintenance of the vehicles and equipment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- A commitment to safety practices while on the road.
- Ability to work in a challenging fast paced, and ever changing environment with little supervision (after training), relying on personal ability, to address challenges as they arise.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
