**Overview**

The M:eating Room is a local, fast-casual in Regina with two locations: Grasslands (south) and Dewdney Avenue (central; re-opening).

Fast casual restaurants serve the needs of customers looking for a quick meal, and the menu focuses on made-to-order dishes with fresh ingredients prepared on-site.

**Job Duties**:

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash registers and other software
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials, thorough menu knowledge
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers as per standards consistently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant
- Assist with opening and closing duties

**Skills**:

- Strong _customer service skills to provide a positive dining & ordering experience
- Complete fluency in English is required as well as strong communication skills
- Cashiering experience to handle transactions accurately
- Knowledge of local food service procedures and standards
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a kitchen setting and assist with food preparation

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
