Tax Advisor

**Tax Advisor - Fractional Contract Position**

ZZEN Group of Companies is seeking an experienced tax consultant who will primarily assist with tax planning opportunities and review of tax returns, among other ad-hoc tasks.

**Advisor Responsibilities**:

- Review of corporate tax returns completed by in-house tax preparer, for manufacturing, real estate and family holding companies
- Review of trust tax returns completed by in-house tax preparer
- Consulting on various tax planning opportunities at the corporate and individual level
- Other ad-hoc tax projects as required

**Advisor Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree in Tax, Accounting and Finance, or other related field
- CPA, CA or CGA designation
- Completion of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program
- Previous experience as a Tax Advisor or similar role
- Knowledge of applicable Canadian tax laws is essential (corporate and personal)
- Knowledge of US tax laws an asset
- Experience with Taxprep an asset
- Excellent communication and time management skills, and detail-oriented

This is a part-time position: hours will fluctuate throughout the year on an as-needed basis, with anticipated busy periods in March, April and June. The role is hybrid and will require time at our offices located in Woodbridge.
