We are currently seeking a Field Service Representative who will be responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment at customer sites.
**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
- Customer satisfaction in all aspects of the job - increased throughput, decreased downtime, regular preventive maintenance, regular upgrades as deemed by the Beckman Coulter technical staff.
- Driving a sense of urgency to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly and with an emphasis on a “first time fix.”
- Handling customer concerns ‐ ability to identify, own, and supervise any issues with an account.
- Effectively pricing and positioning service agreements on both existing and new equipment.
- Acting as a primary customer of DBS and demonstrating internal and external DBS expertise to map improvement plans and drive sustainable improvements.
- Accountability around daily management and monthly KPI’s.
- Call Closure using our computerized system. An FSE is responsible for closing service calls at time of completion.
**The required qualifications for the job include**:
- Associates degree (mechanical, electrical, or biological degree) or with 1+ years of experience.
- A current valid driver’s license and good driving record over the last 3 years. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.
- The ability to travel daily, as well as 20-25% overnight.
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- Hands-on engineering.
- Automation, robotics, centrifugation, and/or particle characterization.
- Computer literacy (especially Excel, Oracle, Sales Force, and/or Pro Service).
