Accounting Clerk

**SUMMARY**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Audit daily postings and credit card transactions in Property Management System to ensure accurate data entries to accounting system
- Prepare daily cash/cheque deposits, daily revenue reports & statistics reports for management and owner
- Manage Accounts Receivables, including invoice processing and payment collections
- Manage Accounts Payables, including invoices, following procedure for payment accuracy
- Reconcile Marriott rebates to ensure the accuracy of premium payment
- Perform account reconciliation (bank, credit cards, loyalty rebate, Travel Agency commissions etc.)
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain and upload accurate financial electronic records to accounting system
- General support to hotel operations departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Comfortable to interact with team members across various departments and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Hotel experience is preferred
