Line Cook/prep Cook

The Line Cook position is responsible for producing all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following the specifications, recipes, and techniques of Delux Burger Bar.
- Requires a minimum of one-year previous line cook experience.
- A valid Food Safe certification is required for this position.
**General Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of food specifications, plating and equipment

- Ability to speak fluent English
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Ensure consistency and compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Learn and maintain knowledge of all menu items and specials
- Setup and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area including dish pit, fridges, and freezers
- Assist in start-of-shift and end-of-shift duties to open and close the restaurant
- Answer, report, and follow Culinary Leader and/or General Manager instructions
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
**Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
