We are a 10+ year old established dental office with a growing patient base with a focus on patient care. Looking for a part-time certified dental assistant to join our friendly dental team Open to adding more days in the future (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays)
Conveniently located in the Newmarket/East Gwillimbury.

The hours we are looking for are:
Alternate Saturday: 7:30am to 2:00pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming trays
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures

**Requirements**:

- Certified Dental Assistant level I or level II (completion of accredited dental assisting program)
- X-ray (HARP) certified
- Ability to commute/relocate to East Gwillimbury/Newmarket
- CPR certified (training will be provided if needed)
- IPAC certified (training will be provided if needed)
- WHMIS certified (training will be provided if needed)

Level of Experience
- Experience in implant dentistry is an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour
