**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:Parts Handling Duties**:

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts against invoices or work orders.
- Organize and store parts in the designated areas, ensuring quick accessibility.
- Tag and label parts correctly for each repair order.
- Notify technicians and/or managers when parts arrive or if there are delays or discrepancies.
- Return unused or incorrect parts to suppliers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts storage area.
- Assist with inventory control and monthly stock counts.

**Shop Support Duties**:

- Assist body and paint technicians with prep work, masking, sanding, and minor assembly/disassembly.
- Move vehicles in and out of the shop or paint booth as directed.
- Clean and detail vehicles before and after repair.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including sweeping, emptying trash, and organizing tools and materials.
- Set up tools, equipment, and workspaces for technicians.
- Help with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or prior experience in an automotive environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff.

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced, physically active environment in an automotive body shop.
- Exposure to chemicals, fumes, noise, and temperature fluctuations.
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
