We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing and Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team.. The Marketing and Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to promote our dealership and engage with our target audience. This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry, as well as expertise in social media management, content creation, event planning and execution as well as digital marketing.
As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our dealership, attract potential customers, and increase sales. Your expertise in automotive marketing combined with your creativity and strategic thinking will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and enhancing our brand image.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to the dealership, and generate sales leads.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target demographics, customer preferences, and market trends to inform marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and develop effective promotional offers and incentives.
- Manage the dealership's online presence, including website content, search engine optimization (SEO), and online advertising campaigns.
- Oversee the creation and production of marketing materials, such as brochures, advertisements, promotional videos, and signage.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to the management team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies and tools, and propose innovative ideas to stay ahead in the market.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, advertising agencies, and media outlets to optimize marketing efforts and negotiate favorable terms.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and results are achieved within budgetary constraints.
- Other marketing duties as required
**Expectations**:
- Review and study manufacture co-op advertising guidelines and policies
- Proficient in Ad-Check system
- Monitor monthly submissions and funds in Ad-Check
- Manage Google My Business and review Google Analytics
- Submit monthly marketing report to district sales manager
- Plan one prize giveaway per month
- Post on social media daily
- Plan one sales event per month
- Plan 6 community events per year
**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
2. Proven work experience as a Marketing and Social Media Manager or a similar role within the automotive industry.
3. Deep understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices, as well as experience in managing social media accounts.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and engage with customers effectively.
6. Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and track the performance of marketing campaigns.
7. Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Passion for the automotive industry and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
11. Proficient with video editing software, camera use for filming and other content creation tools.
