GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and manage food & beverage service staff and related supervisory staff in order to ensure that employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
- Develop a strong and cooperative relationship with the Executive Chef to ensure excellent relations between kitchen and service staff and expedient delivery of food to guests
- Monitor daily scheduling process to ensure appropriate staffing levels to maintain customer service levels, profit goals and exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor and evaluate all department daily activities in order to ensure the successful day-to-day management of all food & beverage departments and all related operations.
- Establish department standards, guidelines, and objectives and maintain other administrative processes such as budget, inventory control, and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of the food & beverage department and all related function.
- Evaluate the performance of food & beverage standards by measuring guest satisfaction, volume, revenue, and cost in order to implement necessary changes to allow the most successful operation of services and fulfillment of company objectives.
- Advise organization in food & beverage-related issues, such as the planning of special events, in order to provide the expertise needed for successful implementation of plans.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting on sales, labour, and inventory performances.
- Assist in planning, promotion, and implementation of special events on the property.
- Assist in onsite promotions to drive revenues and guest experiences to ever-increasing levels
- Required to work a multitude of shifts and times as business demands to ensure highest business time periods are covered
- Assist with our inventory management, menu creation, and implementation
- Assume Manager on Duty role in absence of any other Managers

WORKING CONDITIONS

Must have ability to:

- Observe and direct the actions of your team.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of management, staff as well as customers.
- Review and comprehend all documentation necessary for the position.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry and strong public relations skills are required. Knowledge of and experience with beverage operations in a multi-outlet environment. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school degree or equivalent, with business-related college courses preferred, as well as at least three years of food & beverage management background in a multi-outlet facility, resort, or casino environment.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to the other duties described herein, each and every employee has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee’s department.
- Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
- Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.

Typical working conditions In food and beverage outlets, banquet facilities and kitchens with exposure to heat, fumes, chemicals, cold, and a wide variety of food and beverage products.

Essential Physical Tasks:
Lift boxes, stand for extended periods of time and walk for extended periods of time
