Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.

We are currently seeking reliable and deadline-driven Materials Coordinator to add to our growing team.

**Responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:
1. Maintain open lines of communication with Materials Manager, Supervisors, Team leaders, Material Handlers and employees.

2. Inform Supervisor of the daily production status and of problems as they arise (production, quality or otherwise);
3. Record information as required on Work Order and sign off. Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation per the Quality Management System.

1. Interpret customer submitted production schedules that are used to develop shipping schedules for Mancor using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Excel or Access.

2. Communicate with customers and production manager to resolve any schedule changes etc.

3. Generate work orders from Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.

4. Maintain the filing system for customer purchase orders and inventory records.

5. Participate in, and, audit cycle counts using information from the inventory system to determine root cause.

6. Required to plan and execute yearend inventory activities (if required)

7. Work with lead hands and shop floor employees to ensure cycle counting activities are taking place.

8. Monitor and maintain sub-contract supplier schedules and delivery performance.

9. Assist in the flow of materials from receiving to their respective production areas.

10. Liaison with suppliers and production to coordinate efficient movement of materials.

11. Negotiate and maintain freight contracts and schedules.

12. Maintain all planning perimeters inside QAD system.

13. Track and report weekly shipping performance and inventory accuracy.

14. Work with data entry clerk as required.

15. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum two years of material planning experience

2. Post-Secondary education in Materials Management preferred

3. PC Literacy - advanced level (spreadsheet or database software such as Excel, Access, QAD)

4. QAD or similar MRP system experience an asset

5. Enrolment in, or completion of the CPIM certification an asset

6. Very organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated

7. Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

8. Able to work independently on problem resolution.

9. Committed to continuous improvement.

10. Good attitude. Willing to learn.

11. Strong communication skills.
