We are looking for a confident and experienced Store Manager to join our team and work in a fun and fast paced environment.
**Position Summary**
Store Managers will work closely with their staff to ensure associate’s needs are met, customer’s expectations are exceeded and Company operating standards and profitability goals are achieved.
**Reports to**: District Manager
**Responsibilities & Expectation-**
**Associate Needs**
**1. Recruiting, Training, Developing**
- Proactively recruit for all Positions
- Maintain a complete and capable team
- Utilize all training resources and ensure all staff are trained accordingly
- Develop and coach Associates for growth
- Plan for succession of Associates and Self
- Conduct timely Associate reviews
*** 2. Communication**
- Keep Associates informed of changes in Company policies and procedures
- Effectively handle Associate conflict
- Communicate well across all levels and functions
**3. Health and Safety**
- Health and Safety standards
- Monthly inspections report
- Hazard classification
- First Aid kit
- WSIB or Government reporting
- Emergency procedures
**4**. **Conflict Management**
- Effect satisfactory conflict resolution
**Customer Expectations**
**1. **Company Standards and Guarantees**
- Honor Company standards: Right Away; Same Day; Next Day; On Time, Every Time
- Honor Company guarantees: re-do’s and buy backs
- Effectively manage customer conflict
**2. Customer Service**
- Seek and implement means to improve Great Personal Service (GPS)
- Seek and implement means to improve Customer Fitting
- Seek and implement means to efficiently process the Customer
**3**. **Store Maintenance**
- Ensure presentation and cleanliness of stores meet Company standards
**Company Operating Standards and Profitability**
**1. **Sewing Production**
- Hem Pants, Skirts and Shirts
- Take in Waists and Straps etc
- Add, remove, replace or repair zippers
- Press garments
- Repairs and patching of garments
- Other Alterations as requested
**2**. **Operations**
- Organize people and resources for efficiency and success (planning and budgeting)
- Honor operating standards
- Input store scheduling and payroll
- Follow up to ensure Company initiatives are successfully completed
- Accurately follow all operational and paperwork procedures
- Know operating systems and have ability to learn new systems
- Read and interpret business reports (i.e. Flash Report and P&L)
- Monitor Loss Prevention as it relates to counterfeit money and internal theft
- Operate POS and maintain its security
**3. **Production Control**
- Monitor Scheduling Assistant daily to facilitate Company standards and guarantees
- Seek and implement means to improve productivity, quality and turnaround objectives
- Balance production staff between A,B,C, level sewers and full time or part time
**4. **Achieve Store Goals by Daily Monitoring of**:
- Sales - Product / Dry Cleaning / Corporate
- Magic #
- Quality and Turnaround
- Staff cost
- Contribution
**5. **Ma**rketing**
- Effectively market Company to local retailers, businesses and municipalities
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Promote Company partnership with non-profit organization
**6. **Competition Analysis (done yearly for 3 competitors)**
- Location
- Prices
- Service standards
- Service offerings
**7**. **Loss Prevention**
- Counterfeit Money
- Store Security
- Internal Theft
**Additional Responsibilities and Expectations**
- Physical requirements include standing, lifting, bending for pinning and concentration when sewing
