**Arcamm Electric Ltd. **is a mid-sized electrical contracting company that specializes in commercial work. Having been in the industry for over 25 years, we pride ourselves on being an experienced and reliable company.

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

We are looking for a **3rd or 4th-year Electrical Apprentice **with experience working in commercial and industrial settings. You will be responsible for working alongside and assisting a Journeyman Electrician. Most of our work is in the Greater Toronto Area.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Learning from the Journeyman Electrician and completing all assigned duties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, line diagrams, and more to successfully complete a job.
- Perform other duties, as required.

Assist the Journeyman Electrician in:

- Completing office renovations, including installing panels, new lighting, and power, etc.
- Replacing wall packs and pole lighting using a bucket truck.
- Completing emergency service calls, such as repairs to equipment that have lost power.
- Installing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, which includes new panels, devices, pipes, and wiring, etc.
- Upgrading service equipment (i.e., panels, transformers, secondary feeders from hydro, etc.).

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid Canadian Driver’s License is required.
- A relevant license and certification are required.
- Practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and alongside a team.
- An understanding of blueprints, line diagrams, etc.
- Possess problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience running a service truck.
- Eagerness to learn and ability to handle criticism appropriately.
- Knowledge and experience working with fire alarms is an asset but is not required.
- Willingness to work overtime, be on call for emergencies, late nights and weekends when needed.

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:
