**What we’re hiring for**

We are hiring for a server position working with the coffee and beverage programs of Primary Colours. We're looking for someone passionate about serving and taking care of others, loves food and is proud of amazing ingredients, and is excited about working with a progressive wine, cocktail and coffee program.⁠⁠ As a front of house staff, you will report directly to the Front of House Manager and Co-Founder.

In your role, you will be responsible for providing table service to our guests, taking orders, bringing out food from the kitchen, and making and serving our beverage menu. You will also take counter service orders on our cafe side, which includes serving coffee and pastries, as well as cleaning and organizing the cafe,⁠ and completing other tasks important to the smooth functioning of our cafe. We are looking for people that are passionate about their community, have empathy to the people they interact with, and who love to work within a team.⁠⁠

This role also requires a commitment to actively create a safe and equitable space for all races, religions, cultures, sexual orientations and gender identities. Careful listening, critical problem solving and empathy are intangible assets for this role. Our collective goal is to provide exceptional guest care while serving our community through what we do.

**Our Ingredients Philosophy**

We draw inspiration from the amazing ingredients grown across the country to create food that’s as exciting and diverse as the people and lands that produce them. We are wholly committed to sourcing our ingredients from some of the best, quality-focussed small producers, from coast to coast, and building a meaningful relationship with them. Embracing the seasonal availability of different ingredients, we believe that food tastes best as fresh from harvest as possible. This means our menu evolves as we highlight freshly-harvested ingredients at the peak of their quality. This philosophy persists in every part of our menu, including our wine and cocktails. We work with passionate, quality small wineries and distilleries around the country to build our delicious beverage program.

We also have an unwavering commitment towards a sustainable restaurant practice. A vision of eliminating ingredient waste has lead to creative approaches like making Coffee Oleo Saccharum from spent coffee grinds, or repurposing spent nut pulp from ours house nut-mylk to make granola, filled croissants, or hummus.
