Reporting to the Infrastructure & Operations Manager, the Service Desk Analyst is the first point of contact for all initial Information Technology (IT) client support needs. The incumbent provides first level support services for County employees; is responsible for troubleshooting of hardware and software and assists the Systems Support Analysts in providing systems support for all County client workstations. Knowledge and Skills Two year college diploma in a technology related field Two years of previous experience working in an Information Technology field Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical members of the organization Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment Ability to work individually as well as part of a team Demonstrated time management skills High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment Must hold a valid G class driver’s licence and have the ability to travel The Corporation of the County of Bruce is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to an inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection process.
