**Part-time Learning Instructors (English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology)**

Dynamic after-school enrichment learning center seeking experienced English / Maths / Physics / Chemistry / Biology instructors to coach students from K to 12. The instructors will work with students in a small group setting. Must be flexible with changes in setting and time. This is a part-time, year-round position. Our center is open 6 days a week (except Sunday and public holidays).

**Requirements**:

- Familiar with the BC curriculum (High School English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- Teaching experience is preferred
- University graduate/student
- Excellent communication skills with adults and children
- Sense of responsibility
- Patience, enthusiasm, willingness to work with children
- Must be able to work during weekdays and/or Saturdays

General Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate academic coaching to students according to center policy.
- Motivate and encourage students.
- Discuss students’ progress with the Center Director on a timely basis
- May start off as Learning Assistant, in the beginning, to become familiar with the program.
- Compensation: based on experience.
