Job Summary
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 to plan, track, and report project progress.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of plans.
- Manage subcontractors and labor teams, providing clear direction and oversight to maintain productivity.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets safety standards and project specifications.
- Monitor project budgets and assist with construction estimating to keep projects financially on track.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with OH&H regulations throughout the site.
- Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors to facilitate smooth project flow.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for project stakeholders. Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising construction projects with a strong background in construction management.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with supervising experience overseeing diverse teams of workers and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and safety regulations in a construction environment.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction management or safety are preferred. This position offers an opportunity to lead dynamic projects within a collaborative team environment dedicated to excellence in construction management.
