We’re looking for a talented and passionate **Cake Decorator** to join our dynamic team and help create both our signature designs and custom confections.

**Responsibilities**:

- Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods for both display and custom orders.
- Execute signature designs and replicate existing styles accurately when required.
- Work with fondant, buttercream, ganache, chocolate, sugar, and other mediums.
- Cut, fill, mask, and stack cakes with proper support techniques.
- Create figurines, 3D sculpted cakes, hand-painted details, and other advanced decorations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand and execute their custom design preferences.
- Ensure all custom cakes meet our quality standards and are completed on time.
- Maintain productivity and efficiency while managing multiple projects.
- Communicate clearly with the team and clients throughout the process.
- Keep your station and the kitchen clean, organized, and in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist teammates when needed and contribute to a positive team culture.

**Day-to-Day Tasks**:

- Prepping decorations: chocolates, toppers, figurines, and fillings.
- Decorating baked goods for front-of-house displays daily.
- Meeting deadlines for pickups and deliveries.
- Scaling and portioning cakes based on serving requirements.
- Labeling boards and preparing materials.
- Sourcing and maintaining decorating supplies as needed.
- Keeping track of time spent on projects to improve efficiency.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in cake decorating (fondant, buttercream, piping, and sculpting).
- Knowledge of cake structure, stacking, and support systems.
- Ability to calculate servings and scale cakes accordingly.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and food-safe workspace.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
