**Jocelyn House Hospice** is a 4-bed residential hospice that provides quality end of life care for the terminally ill in our community. Since 1985, Jocelyn House has supported residents and their loved ones in a warm, welcoming and home-like environment.

Jocelyn House Hospice offers the opportunity to provide personalized, compassionate care and support for patients and family members while encouraging residents to live fully until they die.

**Jocelyn House Hospice has immediate openings for Hospice Care Worker (Health Care Aide) casual positions.**Mornings (830-1300), evenings (1630-2100), weekdays/weekends.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Health Care Aide Certificate
- Two years health care aide experience required; long term care and/or palliative care experience an asset.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a health care team
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to establish priorities
- Knowledge and ability to cook simple meals and snacks
