This team is part of the Health Workforce Planning and Implementation Branch. This team and the strategic projects they oversee directly impact the labour market of the health care professionals in BC, which in turn, influences access to health care for all British Columbians. This team brings an amazing level of care and attention to their work, with a deep respect for the responsibility they have to the people of BC and how they are able to access the health care they require. **The Role** **Qualifications**: Education and Experience Requirements - Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health administration, health education, health science, public administration, social sciences or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of recent related work experience at a management level. Related work experience must include the following: - Experience with workforce development or labour market analysis/planning at the provincial, regional or sector level - Project management, contract management and budget management experience - Experience in the supervision of multi-disciplinary management and operational staff and leading teams - Experience developing and maintaining working relationships and resolving problems with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Experience in planning, developing, implementing, analyzing and evaluating policies and programsPreference statement(s) - Applicants with experience with workforce development or labour market analysis/planning in the health sector may be preferred. - A Master’s Degree in health administration, health education, health science, public administration, social sciences or a related field may be preferred **About this Position**: An eligibility list may be established to fill both current and/or future permanent vacancies.
