**Position: Entertainment, Events & Community Manager**
**Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000**
**Status: Full-Time**
**About the Role**:
As the Entertainment, Events & Community Manager, you'll be at the forefront of game presentation for all of our home games. Working closely with the director of marketing, you'll spearhead initiatives to enhance fan engagement, integrate players, and elevate the overall customer experience. From selecting the perfect soundtrack to coordinating captivating in-game activities, you'll have a hand in every aspect of our game day productions.
**Responsibilities Include**:
- Directing game presentations with a focus on fan engagement, player integration, and creative production.
- Planning and executing in-arena/stadium and on-ice/on-field entertainment activities, including between-periods intermissions that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
- Managing budget and inventory for game day production, ensuring we're always equipped with the latest gear and gadgets.
- Leading and mentoring a team of full-time, contract, and intern staff members, just like a coach guides their players to victory.
- Collaborating with sponsors to align activations with team objectives, hitting home runs with every partnership.
- Cultivating relationships with community partners to promote grassroots sports initiatives, spreading the love of the game from the rink to the diamond to the field.
**Qualifications**:
- A degree or diploma in Sports Management, Marketing, or Event Planning, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in game operations/presentation, with a deep understanding of power plays, grand slams, and hat tricks.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams, rallying them together like a captain in the locker room.
- A creative thinker with a deep understanding of baseball, hockey, and lacrosse, able to execute plays that will leave fans cheering for more.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive under pressure, just like a goalie facing a penalty shot in overtime.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and game nights as required, showing the same dedication as the athletes on the field.
