- Create change management strategies by identifying potential barriers, developing communication plans, and facilitating user engagement.
- Communicate updates, expectations, and key project developments to all stakeholders. Support the development of FAQs, training content, and end-user guides to assist in adoption efforts.
- Organize and support workgroup meetings, workshops, and readiness sessions. Identify risks and resistance points, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth adoption.
- Assist in the assessment, redesign, and optimization of clinical and operational workflows impacted by Epic.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that Epic implementation aligns with best practices and hospital objectives. Act as a bridge between clinical and IT teams to ensure smooth transition and mínimal disruption.
- Support HIS project planning, timeline tracking, and milestone monitoring. Assist project directors in ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Document project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Coordinate and support Epic system testing, validation, and troubleshooting during the pre-go-live phase.
- Support the go-live and post-go-live transition, helping users adjust to new workflows.
- Work with super users and leadership to gather feedback and provide system optimization recommendations.
- Other duties as operationally required EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in documentation workflows (e.g., progress notes, H&Ps, discharge summaries), and optimizing charting efficiency (e.g., SmartPhrases, SmartLinks, SmartLists, templates, dictation)
- Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, Kotter, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate discussions between technical and clinical teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze workflows and identify efficiency gaps.
- Ability to handle simultaneous tasks with multiple clients under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills PREFERRED SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Epic implementation knowledge considered an asset
- CAPM or PMP Certification considered an asset
- Certification in PROSCI Change Management considered an asset
- ITIL Certification considered an asset This posting is for an existing position.
