Are you ready to step into a leadership role where you can inspire and empower a team to achieve their full potential? **The Opportunity** As the Child Care Centre Supervisor of the YMCA Early Childhood Hub South, you'll lead our team in providing exceptional care to children and families in our community. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and ensure program excellence. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. **Responsibilities**: - Ensure quality child care delivery, adhering to YMCA and New Brunswick standards. - Manage budgeting, metrics reporting, and center finances. - Provide supervision, recruitment, and performance management of staff. - Implement Policies and Procedures for a safe environment. - Build community partnerships and lead marketing efforts. - Coordinate day-to-day program affairs and ensure necessary conditions for delivery. - IHandle administration and record-keeping and uphold child protection policies. - Analyze center metrics and manage budgets effectively. - Implement and monitor program development and training initiatives. **Skills and Qualifications**: - ECE Certificate or Diploma. - Minimum of 2 years experience in Child Care or After-School programs. - Experience supervising a team, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and training. - Ability to prioritize tasks, and maintain focus and productivity in a busy work environment. - Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. - Comfortable working in a team setting as well as individually. - Strong understanding of the NB Curriculum Framework and the Playing to Learn program is an asset. - First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain. - Employment is contingent on having a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and clearance from the Department of Social Development. **What We Offer**: - YMCA membership - In-house training and professional development opportunities - Uniform and uniform allowance - Personal "Y Day" - Competitive compensation package, including benefits and pension plan - Opportunities for career growth - Opportunities for cross-training across department - Paid job-related certifications (i.e. First aid/CPR) We ask qualified applicants to submit their cover letters and resumes.
