**Summary**

Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring adherence to financial plans /policies and accounting practices, the maintenance of fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports and analysis including daily bank reconciliations.

**Job Duties**
- Prepare and report WSIB and HST Remittance calculations
- Complete daily bank reconciliations
- Complete daily cash reconciliations
- Complete monthly reconciliation for all bank accounts (bank and brokerage accounts)
- Completing month-end journal entries including amortization, accruals, prepaid expenses, inventory valuations, shareholder accounting, etc.
- Ensure adherence to month-end procedures in a timely manner
- Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all financial and bookkeeping activities
- Maintain up-to-date, complete and systematic filing system to support bookkeeping and financial records
- Ad hoc financial analysis (i.e., Jet reporting)
- Assist with financial audit
- Inventory reconciliations
- Knowledge in developing tools for optimizing analysis for financial documents
- Weekly operations reporting
- Variance analysis
- Assistant with budget and forecasts
- Liaise with key operational personnel to provide support as needed
- Key user for developing Point of Sale (POS) systems

**Working Conditions**

- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals
- Overtime as required

**Experience**:

- Financial Analyst/Accountant: 6 years (required)
