Defensive Tactics Unit - designed to provide new police officers the basic tools and techniques required to perform the duties of a uniform police officer including basic defensive tactics and techniques. 2. Firearms Unit - designed to ensure that new police officers become proficient with their service pistols. 3. Immediate Rapid Deployment Unit - designed to provide new police officers with the necessary comprehension and skills to respond to the initial stage of an active attacker incident. 4. Firearms Unit - designed to ensure that new police officers become proficient with their service pistols. 2.
