Primoris Canada is a infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

**SUMMARY**

The Quality Auditor would ideally have extensive experience in performing internal and external Quality Audits from both technical and procedural standpoints and will play a key role in maintaining the Primoris Canada ULC Quality Management System by ensuring that we are in compliance with all relevant requirements. They would have the ability to coordinate turnover set-up and support with multiple projects as required; working to turnover technical records as contracts require for Primoris Canada ULC, Subcontractors and Vendors.

**Job Type**: Full-time - Permanent

**Schedule**: Monday - Friday (7:30AM to 4:00PM)

**JOB DUTIES**
- Perform, assist and report internal and external audits as lead auditor, auditor, and observer as directed by the audit schedule.
- Assist in coordination of the auditing requirements of various business units within Primoris Canada ULC.
- Liaise with external quality auditors (client, owner and regulatory bodies) in the performance of external quality audits.
- Work with QM and leadership team to develop KPI’s & scorecard.
- Ensure that the data for reporting KPI’s is complete and accurate.
- Ensure that the audit process and related procedures remain valid and effective.
- Provide training and assistance to others on the audit team. (Develop Wiki’s/ training videos for processes)
- Maintain the required audit reports and records.
- Maintain a clear understanding of contractual quality obligations, standards, procedures, specifications, and tolerances for all work in progress.
- Recommend initiatives for continuous improvement and identify problem areas to develop opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the investigation of non-conformances and corrective action resolution as required.
- Build effective relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support core company values.
- Actively participate in company safety procedures and programs, correct unsafe work practices and situations, follow reporting protocols for any violations, and participate in the Hazard identification process.
- Develop and maintain system turnover definitions and schedules including alignment with the Client, quality, and construction teams, ensuring smooth transition from projects to operations.
- Ensure turnover is in accordance with Primoris Canada ULC & Client policies, standards and procedures.
- Monitor the progress of compilation of all turnover documentation deliverables (both Internal and Subcontractor).
- Provide leadership and guidance in systems completion and Equipment Pre-Commissioning.
- Initiate weekly and monthly reports with regard to the status of system completions.
- Assist in Coordinating system walk downs with all parties including Project Management, Construction Management, Commissioning, Operations, Engineering and Quality teams;
- Manage system punch lists including maintenance of the database, organizing, verification walk downs, timely completion of all outstanding work, and punch list sign off.
- Monitor readiness of systems for release to Client operations.
- Validate and verify all contractor Turnover packages against the project deliverables.
- Coordinate with the Client for Turnover Care Custody Control (TCCC) to obtain required acceptance and signoffs.
- Provide on and off-site support for multiple projects at the requirements of the project team.

**QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS**
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified ISO 9001 Auditor.
- CSA W178.2 Welding Inspector, AMPP Coating Inspector certification would be an asset.
- 5 years of experience in the Industrial Construction working in Quality Control, Engineering, Construction Management.
- Sound knowledge of Code and regulatory requirements.
- Self-starter and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Work well under pressure

- Must demonstrate a collaborative attitude in working with members of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build strong relationships.
- Strong ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, change management and team building skills.
- Ability to create and maintain accurate and organized documentation.
