This job is a **Woodworking - Product Quality Control & Packaging (Floater)** position.

**Applicant has to be energetic and able to lift over **20 KG (40 LBS)**.**

Must be able to use power equipment such as a table saw, mitre saw, drill press, orbital sander, etc.

Loud sounds are present in the work environment.

This is a junior & senior-level position with room to grow in both positions.

Previous and experience is not required but appreciated, additional training will be provided.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

This is a list of what must be followed for this job:

- Required safety gear must be used as needed (safety shoes, masks, gloves, hearing/eye protection, etc.). All safety gear except for safety shoes will be provided.
- All items must be made to specified specs as listed in blueprints or by jig.
- All items must be assembled as needed.
- All items must be stained, painted and/or clear coated and made to size as specified in the order.
- All items must be checked for damage or production issues by a team member.
- Workspace must be cleaned at the end of the shift to the iirntree standard.
- Employee will have training in other jobs at iirntree in order to create redundancy as well as an understanding of the full production process.
- One-on-one meetings are held every two weeks. A verbal report of any workplace concerns, ideas or suggestions can be made at that time and are strongly encouraged.
- MUST be fluent in English.
- MUST be able to reliably attend shifts on time.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Drive/spreadsheet.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccine.

**Please keep in mind the following**:

- NO cell phones in the build area, calls or messages can be taken on break in the packaging area or outside.
- Days off or personal days must be requested 3 days in advance and added to the office calendar.
- Sick days must be texted in an hour before the shift starts.
- One 30-minute meal break for every 5 hours of work.
- End workday employees must shut down all lights and equipment as well as lock front and back doors.
- Blueprints, production techniques, product and jig designs are the propriety of iirntree and are a trade secret.

**EMPLOYEE REPRIMANDS**
An employee will be given a written warning with review or termination for failing to follow the job responsibilities, workplace rules, endangers others or is offensive to others.

- iirntree does **not pay for days not worked or special holiday pay rates.**
