NRS GENERAL SERVICES - WOOD COATING is looking for a **Shop Labourer**.

FULL TIME - 7 am - 3:00 pm MON-FRI - (Weekends as needed)

A Shop Labourer reports to the Manager and works as a team in a safe productive and timely manner so that production schedules are met and keeps the shop organized and clean.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Familiarity with woodworking/ Sanding
- Experience working in carpentry shop or related field an asset
- High school graduation (post secondary )
- Shipping / Receiving
- Pays attention to detail and accuracy
- Works well with others
- Organizing the shop

PRODUCTION
- Maintain the high standard of quality in production as set out by this business.
- Know, understand, and implement established procedures to carry out production in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- Complete any necessary daily documentation.
- Duties include gather orders, inventory control, and load and unload delivery.
- Staging jobs on the racks for production
- Shipping ( wrapping completed jobs for delivery )
- Helping with Tapping for wood coating
- Maintains the production schedule
- Tracks production performance, assuring time, quality and health and safety standards are met
- Maintain a clean workshop, floors, workspace, equipment, and racks
- Work closely with management

HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Health and Safety Regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Use or wear the equipment, protective devices, or clothing that this business requires.
- Report to his Management the existence of any hazards of which he is aware.
- Attend Health and Safety meetings when necessary.

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
