About the Job_**

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you are responsible for a diverse set of responsibilities in supporting the HR function. The primary focus is to support the HR team by using your advanced technical skills coupled with your experience in, Payroll, Learning and Development, Recruitment, and Talent Management. You will assist the HR Director in executing the plan and assisting them to streamline organizational processes and workflows. This role will support core HR programs such as employee relations, talent acquisition, goal setting and performance management, training, and payroll. The successful incumbent will work as part of a small team to enhance departmental effectiveness and ensure compliance with internal and external policies, processes, and legislation.
**Duties**

Duties may include but will not be limited to the following:
Provide HR technical support and assist as needed automation in the areas of talent acquisition, learning & development, performance management, HR data systems, and payroll administration.

Jr level employee relations functions including performance management, disciplinary actions, disability management, health & safety. (Nice to have, Not a deal breaker)

As part of the HR continual improvement process, assist the team and the Director as needed.

Research and recommend new paperless approaches and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department services performed to support onboarding. Other duties as directed by the Director of Human Resources.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Min. 2+ years of related experience in a similar role or ability.
- Generalist experience and human resource support or business partner background.
- Advanced computer literacy, including advanced skill in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills to handle high volumes of work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Self starter is required with a high degree of attention to detail in all areas of work and a proven track-record of responsiveness and meeting deadlines.
