_**Overview**_:
Locally owned and operated since 1927, _Bruce Fuels_ is looking for professional DZ tandem truck drivers in support of its operations throughout eastern Ontario & Western Quebec.

Full-time permanent position, evening shift, Tuesday through Saturday (Sunday & Monday off). Home at the end of every shift; no overnight sleeping in truck.

Opportunities for advancement exist as well for those who are working towards earning their AZ license in order to operate semi tractor-trailers.
- **Job Summary**_:
Operating tandem fuel truck safely, following all roadway rules & regulations

Delivering various petroleum-based products to locations throughout eastern Ontario & western Quebec

While following all safety protocols, loading petroleum products at various terminals in the greater Ottawa area

Complete daily pre-trip inspections of unit being operated

Maintain accurate driving logs

Submit daily paperwork

Report any technical issues with equipment being operated

Comply with all _Transportation of Dangerous Goods_ regulations

Present yourself in a clean, professional manor at all times

Maintain cleanliness of trucks interior & exterior
- **Minimum Job Requirements**_:
DZ License

A positive, “let’s get it done” attitude, enjoys & works well in a team environment.

Meet all medical standards for operating DZ trucks (including vision standards)

Knowledge & recognition of importance of health & safety in the workplace

Having previously operated petroleum tankers is preferred, but not a requirement

Familiarity with computer & paper-based log books, preferred

Must provide a valid Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) certificate

Must have a clean driver’s abstract / record

Must be able to communicate effectively in English or French (bilingualism considered an asset)

Ability to lift 14 to 22 kilograms
