**Delivery Truck Driver**

**Job Summary**:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a 16' box truck in and around the Ottawa/Gatineau area. This position will be responsible for collecting used cooking oil in 120L plastic barrels from customer locations. The position will also require regular interaction with customers and co-workers in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. Customer service is paramount in this position. The driver will also be expected to respond to urgent pickup requests as directed by the GM of the Oil Division. You'll be joining a great team-oriented group of drivers, warehouse staff and management.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Drive a box truck to customer sites. Most locations require the use of a dolly to travel short distances.
- Collecting used cooking oil from 750 restaurants/pubs, retirement homes, hotels, colleges/universities, food trucks, and commercial properties.
- Load barrels onto the truck using powered lift and report any issues to the delivery driver manager.
- Clean and maintain the inside of the truck and equipment. Report any damage or defects to the delivery driver manager.
- Report any issues at the job site.
- Clean and maintain the outside of the truck and equipment. Report any damage or defects to the delivery driver manager.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or damages at the job site.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record and CVOR.
- Minimum 3 years heavy truck driving experience
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs on repeated basis throughout shift.
- Is courteous, patient, helpful and pleasant with customers.
- Doesn't mind an oily environment at times
- Is a team player who wants to be a part of a rapidly growing company,

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Commercial Heavy Truck driving: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Letter of Experience from your insurance broker (required)
