They will help plan and run donor appreciation events that celebrate generosity and impact. Keep donor records up to date by tracking key stewardship activities in database. They will contribute to the creation of reports that show donors the impact of their gifts. They will gain hands on experience in donor relations and relationship management while supporting meaningful donor engagement. **Qualifications**: **Education**: - Must be a full time student at Western (enrolled in minimum 3.5 courses), and expect to retain full-time student status for the duration of this appointment **Experience**: - Previous experience in Advancement or Fundraising an asset. Skills, Abilities & Expertise: - Written and verbal communication skills to express ideas clearly, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience - Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation - Reliable and dependable with the ability to consistently work assigned schedule - Ability to follow processes and practices with high attention to detail - Computer skills with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and use new software programs as required - Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues, students and the public - Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals - Ability to work in a manner that is compliant with confidentiality requirements as applicable **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
