**Installation Technician Audio Visual**

**Job description**:
AV Works is an established audio-visual company based in St. Albert, and services the surrounding region. We are looking for an Experienced, Friendly and Customer focused Installation Technician.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**Experience**:

- 3 years AV installation experience.
- 2 years AV INSTALLATION experience.
- Field support - diagnosis and fixing.
- Reading plans and blueprints.
- Must be familiar with construction sites.

**Role competencies and expectations**:

- Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
- Install, setup and provide training on equipment for clients.
- Perform equipment additions, removals, repairs, replacements and inspections.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed.
- Prioritize and complete service orders accurately and timely.
- Technically competent with excellent time management.
- Flexible, organized, reliable, and always on time.
- Report writing and task tracking. ie fill out and complete Jobber.
- Measuring and drilling locations for display mounts / speakers / cameras.
- Perform work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost / time limits.
- Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations.
- Attention to detail.
- Applicant must be computer savvy.
- Knowledge of a/v control platforms and remote controls.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of A/V systems
- IP Video and IT experience preferred

**Eligibility Requirements**:

- CSTS Training
- Current First Aid
- Must provide Drivers Abstract
- Must provide Criminal Background Check
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada
- Must provide proof of vaccination
- Provide own basic tools
- Must live within 25 km. of Edmonton
- Must speak, read, write and understand English fluently

Pay is based on experience and skill set.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Schedule**: 8 hour shift Mon - Fri, 9:00 - 5:00

**Note**: AV Works is a smoke free Workplace
