We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Child and Youth Care Workers to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of the children and youth we serve.

As a Child and Youth Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of children and youth in our care. You will provide direct support, supervision, and intervention to help them achieve their personal, social, and educational goals. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing individualized care plans.

Providing emotional support and counseling to children and youth.

Facilitating recreational and educational activities.

Supervising daily routines and ensuring a safe environment.

Building positive relationships with children, youth, and their families.

Collaborating with other professionals and community agencies.

Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records.

Responding to crisis situations and implementing appropriate interventions.

**Qualifications**:
Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Previous experience working with children and youth in a care or support role.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Knowledge of child and youth development principles.

Crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.

Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Current First Aid and CPR certification, current Criminal Record Check and current Child Intervention Record Check.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience with trauma-informed care practices.

Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity issues.

**Working Conditions**:
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Ability to handle physically and emotionally demanding situations.

Participation in ongoing training and professional development.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
