**About us**

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to join our team. As the Vice President of Finance, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization and portfolio companies. You will be responsible for driving financial growth, implementing process improvements, and providing leadership to our finance team.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the overall business objectives
- Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
- Lead the development and execution of financial models and business cases for new initiatives
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including banks and auditors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Proven track record in business development and strategic planning

Pay: $180,000.00-$235,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
