Right now, we are looking for a** Medical & Academic Affairs Specialist (Credentialled Staff)** to join our Medical Affairs Department

**Reporting Relationship**:Director, Medical Affairs

**Location**:Humber River Health - Wilson Site

**Employee Group**: Non-Union

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the annual reappointment of Credentialled Staff (e.g., review, update and draft correspondence, liaise with internal and external stakeholders and preparation of reports)
- Management and maintenance of Credentialled Staff electronic files and physician listings on various databases and disseminate information (through the preparation of data and reports) as required
- Preparation and distribution of correspondence and/or reports in respect of appointments and changes to privileges (i.e. Board Letters, temporary privileges, LOAs, resignations)
- Coordination with Finance and Accounts Payable to support the tracking, calculation and processing of stipends and/or other funding for physicians
- Review, investigate and respond to concerns from Credentialled Staff and escalation, as required
- Act as the central point of contact in respect of requests relating to privileges
- Perform general administrative tasks related to the Credentialled staff, including, but not limited to, responding to Credentialled staff inquiries, maintaining and saving correspondence, inputting of vacation notices, drafting of correspondence, preparation of reimbursements
- Maintain policies and procedures for Medical Affairs and coordinate the uploading of new and revised policies on iHumber Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM)
- Provide administrative support, coordinate and support meeting logistics for the Credentials Committee and other meetings
- Assistance with Medical Learners, as required.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate Degree in Nursing, Policy, Arts, Education, Public Administration, Health and/or related field required
- 5 years’ experience in administrative support for a senior manager.
- Experience in scheduling, customer service, and problem solving, required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.), Microsoft Teams, Zoom
- Experience with CMaRS, Petal MD and medical terminology, preferred.
- Experience in project coordination, business and statistical analysis preferred.
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
