Quality Control Analyst

**Job Description Summary**:
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team performing environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, bioburden and endotoxin testing of waters, and data analysis and documentation. You will work collaboratively with several STEMCELL departments, playing a vital role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our products and processes while working with the latest technology and products
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Conduct environmental monitoring of controlled cleanrooms and laboratory areas, including performing routine sampling of purified water system for bioburden and endotoxin, data analysis, and assisting with report preparation
- Purchase and maintain inventory for laboratory supplies and other materials, including working with external contract laboratories and vendors to schedule testing requirements
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, and document results according to good documentation practices and established procedures
- Assist in investigations, non-conformances, and deviations as required, including writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test reports
- Variable shifts are required to support manufacturing operations, including early starts, evening work, and infrequent weekend work
**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, or a related discipline in life sciences, with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with non-conformance investigations and reporting, and working with a Quality Management System (QMS) is an asset
- Experience writing SOPs and quality-related reports and documents an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are highly desirable
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment, familiarity with aseptic techniques, and familiarity with ISO and GMP regulations an asset

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$56,270.00 - $76,100.00
STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
