**Under the direct supervisor of the Canadian Finance Director, the employee will be tasked to analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support. Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. The employee will also assist with annual and quarterly reporting.**

1.Responsible for the full accounting cycle except for AP, AR, and Payroll, for a major Canadian manufacturing site whose operations are in multiple currencies.

2.Financial Statement preparation and analysis includes:

- Intercompany accounting in multiple currencies.
- Fixed and Intangible asset management.
- Preparation and maintaining all balance sheet and/or other pertinent schedules.

Responsible for year end audits.

3.Project cost monitoring; responsible for related grants and SR & ED claims.

4. Gross margin and costing analysis, monitoring and recommendations.

5.Accounts Receivable collection oversight.

6.Inventory management, such as: cycle count monitoring, weighted average weekly adjustments and review, oversight of annual physical count, etc.

7.Budget preparation and analysis

8.Assist in ad hoc projects and reports.

**Min requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalence experience

5 years of experience

Bilingual
