Installation & Service Technician - Door & Hardware

- We are seeking an individual to support our the installation of project work related to Door & Hardware and construction specialties._

**Specifically you will**:
Responsible for all aspects of the process for the installation of Door & Hardware products, washroom accessories, toilet partitions, lockers and other construction specialties.
- Determine the requirements of an installation projects/contracts and prepare the necessary materials and equipment for the project(s), which includes but not limited to:

- Conduct site surveys to provide customer estimates and all associated administrative tasks.
- Identify and obtain pertinent information from blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Load and unload vehicle(s) with supplies and equipment.
- Execute installations on projects to successful completion, which includes but not limited to:

- Readying the job site for maximum productivity.
- Removal of old equipment, as necessary
- Setting up property protection such as drop cloths and tarps, as appropriate.
- Completing installation as per specifications.
- Operating hand and power tools.
- Site clean-up.
- Independently coordinate and complete projects with mínimal supervision paying particular attention to detail and project timelines.
- Liaise with Contractors to facilitate the successful execution of the installation contract including: Installations details, material handling, changes to the contract and on-site coordination.
- Work closely with Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service, Purchasing, Shop, Warehouse and Management Teams to ensure efficient fulfillment of Customer needs across all potential lines of business.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and record keeping for production history and for inventory control.

REQUIREMENT
- High School Graduation Diploma
- Previous experience in the Construction Trade, use of power tools, welding and posses’ a mechanical aptitude.
- Mathematical skills such as add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to convert between Metric and Imperial measurements.
- Communication skills that include reading, writing and interpretation.
- Valid class G license | Driver’s abstract with no recent moving or driving violations

Pay: $28.36-$34.03 per hour
