**Job Overview**
**Duties**
**Operate commercial vehicles to transport containers to designated local destinations.**
**Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.**
**Safely load, secure, and unload containers as required.**
**Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and incidents.**
**Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, and delivery updates.**
**Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.**
**Perform basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.**
**Operate equipment for loading/unloading when required.**
**Qualifications**
**Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.**
**Minimum 1 year of container trucking experience (mandatory).**
**Experience with local container pick-ups and deliveries at ports/rail yards.**
**Familiarity with heavy equipment operation preferred.**
**Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is beneficial.**
**Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.**
**Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.**
**Reliable, punctual, and professional in all aspects of the role.**
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
