Sodexo Live, Scotiabank Center - Halifax is looking for a Stand Lead at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, NS. Centerplate is a global leader in live event hospitality, “Making It Better To Be There” for more than 115 million guests each year at more than 350 prominent entertainment, sports and convention venues across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom To qualify for this position:

- **Be 19 years or older for the purpose of handling alcohol.**:

- **Serve Right certificate is mandatory.**:

- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- The ability to keep your areas stocked, clean and follow all Sodexo and Scotiabank Centre procedures.
- Be confident in delegating tasks and giving direction to your stands' team.
- Take direction from your Manager and Supervisors.
- Be confident working in a crowded and fast pace work environment.
- Experience in counting inventory.
- Cash Handling procedures (POS, Debit/Credit and refunds)
- Be confident is preparing basic food items (fries, hotdogs, etc).
- Be confident in pouring and serving draught beer.
- Must comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Must comply with all health and safety precautions.
- Completion on the **Food Safety** Certificate will be considered an asset and is highly recommended for this position.

This position is perfect for a student who may want to return home for the summer months or someone who would like to spend the summers with their school aged children.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.20 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
